Another Evening Express kit,  The Fisherman's Shanty.

A two level structure on pilings for use along the shoreline.  Laser cut wood with over 20 metal detail castings including a floating dock and other nautical details.

This kit is dedicated in fond memory of Builders In Scale founder, Jim Haggard, the new J & J Pyrite Mine is based on the National Belle Mine of Red Mountain City, Colorado in it's later years with its unique "A"-frame design.

The interior framing is constructed over full-sized templates with laser-cut walls and roof, to be haphazardly covered with tar paper. Add a bunch of our original white metal detail castings and you found some real treasures.
